Mary Cheramie, CCIM, CPA

Mary Alfortish Cheramie, CCIM, CPA, is the broker and co-founder of Generations Realty Group, which she launched alongside her husband, Cory. A proud Louisiana State University alumna, Mary holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Louisiana. As a third-generation realtor, she began her real estate career in 2011, continuing a family legacy built on integrity, service, and deep community roots.

Before entering real estate full-time, Mary gained extensive experience in corporate finance and accounting through her work with Ernst & Young in New York City and ExxonMobil in Houston. Her CPA and Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designations equip her with a highly analytical, strategic approach to real estate transactions. She specializes in commercial and investment properties, with particular expertise in cash-flow analysis, complex valuations, and guiding clients through sophisticated financial decisions.

Faith and service are central to Mary’s personal and professional life. She is actively involved in her parish community at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Mandeville, where she and her family value faith, stewardship, and giving back. These principles guide her leadership style and her commitment to serving clients with honesty, care, and long-term perspective.

In addition to serving clients, Mary is deeply committed to supporting the realtors who have chosen to join the Generations Realty Group family. She and Cory believe their agents are the firm’s greatest asset and take pride in fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth, accountability, and lasting success.

Married since 2016, Cory and Mary are the proud parents of two children. Outside of real estate, they enjoy spending time outdoors, staying active, exploring new dining experiences, and embracing the culture and amenities of Mandeville, Louisiana, and the greater New Orleans area. They are also passionate about giving back through leadership involvement and charitable initiatives.
