Cory and Mary Cheramie are a husband-and-wife real estate team and the co-founders of Generations Realty Group. Cory, originally from Houma, Louisiana, and Mary, a Belle Chasse native, share deep roots in South Louisiana and a genuine appreciation for its culture, people, and way of life. The two met while attending Louisiana State University in 2009 and were married in 2016. Today, they are the proud parents of three children and are passionate about serving the communities they call home.
Both LSU graduates, Cory and Mary bring strong backgrounds in finance, accounting, and analytical decision-making to their real estate practice. Mary is a licensed CPA in Louisiana and holds the CCIM designation, giving her a deep expertise in commercial and investment real estate, financial analysis, and complex valuations. As a third-generation realtor, she continues a family legacy in the greater New Orleans real estate market that dates back to 1956 and inspired the name “Generations.” Cory serves as Associate Broker and adds a corporate finance background, along with hands-on experience in property evaluation, inspections, and strategic negotiation, creating a well-rounded and practical approach for their clients.
Faith, integrity, and service are central to the Cheramies’ personal and professional lives. They are actively involved in their parish community at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Mandeville, where stewardship, relationships, and giving back are core values. These principles shape their belief that real estate is ultimately about people, not transactions. At Generations Realty Group, the focus is on building trust, delivering thoughtful guidance, and creating long-term value for clients—recognizing that success and compensation are the result of exceptional service, never the motivation.
Outside of real estate, Cory and Mary enjoy spending time with their children, staying active outdoors, and embracing the lifestyle and recreational opportunities available throughout St. Tammany Parish and the greater New Orleans area. They are deeply committed to leadership, mentorship, and community involvement, striving to make a positive and lasting impact both through their work and their service beyond it.
